Snow Factory

Snow Factory

Located on the Ewa end of McCully Shopping Center
Open late (ish)

They've only been open for about 3 weeks now. The concept is ice cream served like shave ice. There is nothing special about the flavors, but its worth trying. You have never put anything like this in your mouth before.

The strawberry and green tea were good, but didn't hear good things about the milk flavor.

I give this place 3 stars. Its not something I would crave, but I might still go back if I was in the neighborhood on a sunny afternoon.

the gimmick works right now since its a novelty item.. but they need to think of more "add-ons" soon. i think they can only milk the cream idea for so long (no pun intended).

they should make a serving that's 50% smaller. they could reduce the price by only 40% and i'd still opt for the smaller size. the smaller size cup might also help with the turnaround times for their limited amount of seating.

other than that, it was pretty tasty, and eating shaved ice with a fork was a new one for me.

i went there for the first time. cup is too big for me as well. also if they add fresh fruits on the side i think it will be better. that is how the hong kong people serve them with..i had the mango favor it is kinda dry for me. samething with me i will eat it but i won't go out of my way to go get one.

oh yeah if the girl can wipe the excess off the cup before she give it to the customer it will be good too...i was there and watch them pass it to the customers with snow all on the side of the bowl lol.
